Atlas Bridge Logistics (“Atlas Bridge,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to our website, dashboard, mobile experiences, APIs, and related services (the “Services”).
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you provide
- Account information: name, email, password, phone, company name, job title, preferred language.
- Shipment information: origin and destination addresses, recipient names and contact details, parcel dimensions and weight, contents description, declared value, customs classification, and any handling instructions.
- Payment information: processed by Stripe; we receive only the last 4 digits, brand, and expiration of your card. We do not store full card numbers.
- Communications: support tickets, contact-form submissions, chat-agent transcripts, and emails.
1.2 Information we collect automatically
- Usage data: pages viewed, features used, timestamps, click events.
- Device data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, language preference, referring URL.
- Cookies and similar technologies:session cookies for authentication, analytics cookies for product improvement. See Section 7.
1.3 Information from third parties
- Carriers: tracking events, delivery status, and exception notifications.
- Identity and fraud prevention: sanctions screening results, OFAC checks, and similar trade-compliance providers.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Services;
- Process Shipments, generate labels, file customs entries, and coordinate with Carriers;
- Process payments and prevent fraud;
- Send transactional emails (receipts, tracking, quotes);
- Comply with our legal obligations, including export controls, anti-money-laundering, and sanctions screening;
- Improve and personalize the Services;
- Send marketing communications (with your consent where required);
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud and security incidents.
3. Legal Basis for Processing (EU/UK Customers)
If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, our legal bases for processing your personal data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) are:
- Performance of a contract— to provide the Services you have requested;
- Legal obligation— to comply with customs, tax, sanctions, and other laws;
- Legitimate interests— to operate, secure, and improve the Services;
- Consent— for marketing emails and non-essential cookies (where required).
4. Who We Share Your Information With
We share your information only as necessary, with:
- Carriers and customs authorities— to generate labels, file entries, and complete deliveries;
- Service providers (sub-processors) who help us operate the Services, including:
- Supabase (database and authentication, U.S.)
- Vercel (hosting, U.S.)
- Stripe (payment processing, U.S.)
- Shippo (parcel rate aggregation and label generation, U.S.)
- Resend (transactional email, U.S.)
- Anthropic (AI chat assistant on the marketing site, U.S.)
- Legal and regulatory bodies— when required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights or others’ safety;
- Acquirers— in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act.
5. International Data Transfers
Atlas Bridge is headquartered in the United States, and most of our service providers are located in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. Where required by law (e.g., transfers from the EEA/UK), we rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or other approved transfer mechanisms.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your Account is active and as needed to provide the Services. After Account closure, we retain certain information for: (a) compliance with legal and tax obligations (typically 7 years); (b) resolution of disputes; and (c) enforcement of our agreements.
7. Cookies & Tracking
We use the following categories of cookies:
- Strictly necessary: session authentication, security tokens, language preference. These cannot be disabled.
- Analytics: Vercel Analytics to understand how customers use the dashboard. Aggregated and anonymized.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling strictly necessary cookies will impair functionality.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you;
- Request correction of inaccurate information;
- Request deletion of your information (subject to legal retention requirements);
- Object to or restrict certain processing;
- Receive a portable copy of your information;
- Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time, by clicking “unsubscribe” in any marketing email or emailing us.
California residents: Under the CCPA/CPRA you have rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA. To exercise your rights, email privacy@atlasbridgelogistics.com.
EU/UK residents: Under the GDPR you may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. We encourage you to contact us first so we can resolve any concern directly.
9. Security
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, role-based access controls, Row-Level-Security on database tables, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; accordingly, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email and posted on this page with a new Effective Date.
